Congratulations to talented soprano Isabella Moore who won the $15,000 Dame Malvina Major Foundation first prize at the NZ Aria in Rotorua this month.
The Aria is regarded as one of the best song contests in Australasia and previous winners have gone on to forge international opera careers.
Isabella’s win follows earlier successes in 2014 at The Dame Malvina Major Foundation Arias in Dunedin and Christchurch, and at the Lexus Song Quest.
Having recently completed her Masters degree at Wales’ International Academy of Voice, Isabella is about to return overseas to further her career.
